Heaven Fallen From The Sky

It’s also the longest night of the year, without you, without you.
The church bells are ringing all the day long
Some carolers singing but I’m without a song about you, without you
The least it could do would be snow
Christmas alone and I’ve nowhere to go
And I’m looking for a miracle in the fireplace.

My stocking is hung by the chimney with care
In hopes when I wake up you’ll be standing there with a smile, but you’re not
So silent, like heaven fallen from the sky
Like heaven has fallen from the sky.

There’ll be no music but there won’t be a fight
There’s nothing for me, you won’t be coming home tonight
Tonight you’re gone, is that what we want?
Wind on the windows makes me notice the frost
The ghosts of the present, and the future we lost
Christmas past, this Christmas last
So silent, like heaven fallen from the sky
Like heaven has fallen from the sky
Like heaven has fallen from the sky.
